The Nokia E7-00, also known as Nokia E7, is a business-oriented QWERTY smartphone byNokia from the Nokia Eseries^[4][5] It was announced at Nokia world in September 2010 together with the Nokia C6-01 and Nokia C7^[6][7][8][5] and started shipping in February 2011. It is the second phone after the Nokia N8 to be running the Symbian^3 operating system.

When compared with the Nokia N8,^[9] it has fixed mass storage of 16GB without a memory card slot, no FM transmitter and a less advanced camera, with Extended Depth of Field, instead of autofocus as in the N8 and the E90.^[3] Like the Nokia N8, it comes with an HDMI-out connector and a non-user-replaceable battery that is smaller than the E90's.^[10]

It has the same keyboard spring mechanism as the Nokia N97 mini, but has like the N8 an anodized aluminium casing. All this is different from the bulkier and heavier E90.^[3]

Compared to the Nokia N97 mini and E90, the E7-00 has a multitouch capacitive touchscreen. Unlike the N8, N97 mini, and the E90, the E7-00 has an Active-matrix OLED(AMOLED) ClearBlack technology with a slightly lower resolution than the E90.^[3] Vlasta Berka, general manager of Nokia Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei, talked about the trend of users who are using their smartphones for business.^[11]

USB டிரைவ்களை போர்மட் செய்வதற்கு...

நம்மிடம் உள்ள தகவலை வெளியே எடுத்துச் செல்ல பெரும்பாலும் நாம் பயன்படுத்துவது CD, DVD, Pen Drive, Usb Drive போன்றவைகள் ஆகும். நாம் வைத்துள்ள டிரைவ்களை வைரஸ் அல்லது வேறு சில காரணங்களினால் போர்மட் செய்ய நேரிடும்.

அப்போது வைரஸ் பிரச்சினையின் காரணமாக போர்மட் செய்வதில் பல பிரச்சினைகள் ஏற்படுவதால் போர்மட் செய்ய இயலாது. இதனை சரிசெய்ய ஒரு எளிய மென்பொருள் உள்ளது.

Disk Formatter என்னும் மென்பொருளை இணையத்தில் இருந்து பதிவிறக்கி கணணியில் நிறுவிக் கொள்ள வேண்டும். இந்த மென்பொருளை ஓபன் செய்ததும் தோன்றும் விண்டோவில் போர்மட் என்ற பொத்தானை அழுத்தி போர்மட் செய்து கொள்ள முடியும்.

இதன் சிறப்பு வசதி இந்த மென்பொருள் வெறும் 50kb அளவு உடையது ஆகும். மேலும் FAT32 and NTFS போர்மட்டுகளை உடையது ஆகும்.

எந்தவித மென்பொருளும் இல்லாமல் கணணியில் நிறுவியுள்ள இயங்குதளங்களின் மூலமாகவே USB டிரைவ்களை போர்மட் செய்து கொள்ள முடியும்.

முதலில் Start->Rum->cmd என்று தட்டச்சு செய்து command prompt யை ஓபன் செய்ய வேண்டும். பின் My computerயை ஒப்பன் செய்து டிரைவ் எந்த கோலன் என்பதை குறித்துக் கொண்டு command promptல் போர்மட் என டைப் செய்து F:G:H:I:J: இது போல எந்த கோலன் என்பதை Format கோலன், உதரணாத்திற்க்கு G: கோலன் என்றால் format g: என்று டைப் செய்து Enter Keyயை அழுத்தவும்.

அடுத்ததாக போர்மட் செய்ய ரெடி என்று Enter கீயை அழுத்த சொல்லும், அதன் பின் எண்டர் கீயை அழுத்தவும்.

அழுத்தியவுடன் போர்மட்டாக தொடங்கும், ஒரு சில வினாடிகளில் போர்மட் ஆகிவிடும். விரும்பினால் டிரைவுக்கு வேண்டிய பெயரை இங்கேயே எழுதலாம். அவ்வளவு தான் இனி டிரைவ்களை போர்மட் செய்வது எளிதாகும்.
